The P.T.A. Annual General Meeting took place on Tuesday  28th August 2017 and the new committee is shown above. Last year the PTA raised £1954.40 and over the course of the year supported the pupils at Hazlehead Academy by funding the items shown below. The PTA and school were also very grateful for a very generous donation of £500.00 from Nexen. This money was used to buy additional books for the school library

The PTA Christmas Fair is taking place on Thursday 30th November from 6.00 – 8.00pm in the Assembly Theatre and Staff Room. In addition to external providers, there will also be approximately 16 stands being run and manned by pupil groups who are trying to raise money for worthy causes or as part of courses they are doing at school this year. The choir will be providing some festive entertainment and there will be refreshments available for purchase on the night. Raffle tickets will also be on sale for the Christmas raffle and the Christmas Hamper raffle winner will be drawn at the end of the evening. Tickets for the Fair will be available from the school office in November –  £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for children.

Grateful thanks to Dawn Mitchell has very kindly donated and made up the Christmas Hamper for the PTA this year.

Did you know?

PTA members serve refreshments in G4 from 5.00- 6.30pm during each year group’s parents’ evening.
