Christmas Cakes

Practical Cake Craft National 5 pupils completed Christmas Cakes as their prelim just before the Christmas holidays.  They made a rich fruit cake, covered with marzipan and fondant and decorated to their own design.  As part of the course they must choose 5 design techniques from modelling, crimping, piping, texturising, embossing, stencilling and using commercial cutters.  Well done to all, good 3 weeks work and all their own designs.
