Creative Industries visits ‘Breakneck Comedy’
On the 28th September 2018, the group of pupils from the Creative Industries class went to the ‘Breakneck Comedy’ Club on King Street in Aberdeen. Naz Hussain (owner) personally took the time out of his busy schedule to talk to the young people about his journey as he has built up his business in the last ten years.
Pupils learned about the importance of resilience and the long working hours that are needed when setting up a company in the Creative Industry. They were given information on elements like the power of social media and the importance of fiscal awareness.
This visit allowed the pupils not only to have a look around a thriving Creative Industry business in Aberdeen, but also gave them the opportunity to ask questions while preparing for the work they are doing as part of their course.
We would like to thank Naz for taking the time to give the pupils this amazing experience.
