NESCOL visiting chef

On 22nd August, over 30 National 5 Practical Cookery and National 5/Higher Health and Food Technology pupils observed our visiting chef from NESCOL.  With over 20 years industry experience and lecturing experience he was able to give the pupils guidance on nutrition, sustainability, garnishing, organisation to assist with their exam prep, along with sharing industry stories and guidance on next steps for those looking to follow paths into the Hospitality industry.

This was the first of a few visits between Hazlehead and NESCOL that are planned over the 2018/2019 session.  The pupils enjoyed tasting the food he prepared and asked lots of questions.
