A newsletter has been produced to showcase some of the projects that have been going on at Hazlehead Academy.
Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) is a seven-year programme (2014-2021) that aims to better prepare children and young people aged 3–18 for the world of work. This programme builds on the foundations already in place through Curriculum for Excellence.
The headline aim of Developing the Young Workforce is to reduce youth unemployment by 40% by 2021.
Hazlehead Academy have various programmes and strategies in-built to every day learning that allows our pupils the most opportunities to achieve success when they leave school to whatever destination they choose. The newsletter below gives a little insight into the kind of things that have been ongoing recently.
