Hazlehead Academy young sports ambassadors planned, organised and ran a transition badminton tournament for our feeder primaries at Hazlehead Academy. There was a large turnout for the event and all players involved thoroughly enjoyed their experience of coming up to “the big school.”
The ambassadors were excellent throughout the event, offering support, encouragement and a becoming positive role model to the younger pupils. The standard of play on the day was excellent and it is very obvious that we have some very talented pupils in our primary schools and the secondary staff are really looking forward to working with these pupils.
The ambassadors will continue to work on various projects over the term so watch this space. Congratulations to all involved!
