Young Enterprise Success

“Chalk It”, one of Hazlehead Academy’s Young Enterprise companies, has performed incredibly well this year. The team developed a range of high quality homeware products, including chalk boards and placemats, suitable for use and decoration in the home and office environment. As well as making a substantial profit, their well-written report ensured that they won a place in the Grampian Area Finals. This involved being interviewed, delivering a presentation and holding a sales stall, followed by a Business Dinner at Ardoe House Hotel. The “Chalk It” team worked extremely hard, and thoroughly deserved their awards for “Overall Runners Up” and “Best Report”. Throughout the course, they were ably supported by their Business Adviser, Kimberley Matthew from Amec Foster Wheeler and Graham Walton, our school technician. Congratulations!
