Outdoor Learning Funding – Cairngorm National Park

Cairngorm National Park have provided £500 of funding through two separate grants for pupils to take part in Outdoor Learning in the National Park. Some S1 pupils will visit the National Park as part of the Social Subjects course where they will meet with a Park Ranger and get the opportunity to learn about the landscape, local wildlife and economy. Pupils will then compare the National Park with the Den of Maidencraig Nature Reserve, Hazlehead’s local outdoor area, through a second visit supported by an Aberdeen City Council Ranger.
