Experience Science

The University of Aberdeen is delighted to be trialling a new initiative, Experience Science.

Experience Science is an excellent opportunity for S4 and S5 pupils to visit the University of Aberdeen to try out a selection of STEM science subjects.  Each evening session will showcase one science subject and participants will have the chance to get involved with experiments, workshops and practical sessions.  Participants are welcome to try as many evenings out as they wish, and this is something they can then talk about within their UCAS personal statement.

Experience Science will take place on the following Tuesday evenings from 6.00-7.30pm on campus.  Participants are encouraged to take part in as many of the subjects on offer as they wish.

  • 19th January (Geology)
  • 23rd February (Mathematics)
  • 29th March (Engineering)
  • 26th April (Computing science)
  • 24th May (Biology)
  • 28th June (Physics)
  • 26th July (Chemistry)

Places are limited by venue capacity, and the events will be highly popular so we ask that participants register early.  For more details and to register please visit: www.abdn.ac.uk/study/ExperienceScience.php
